Wrote a little bit about psionics, but then remembered I started writing up the Zhdez Cypher flavor, and I need to go back to the Cypher pdfs and finish that.
I have put the Cargo Cans entry in the wiki, so far unchanged.
I've put the Starships entry in the wiki, though it's still just a list of, well, starships.
Buried in the Trav design rules, and 100% ignored thereafter, is the fact that ship hulls are divided into drive sections and crew sections, and that tonnage can't be re-allocated between the two after construction. I'm going to regretfully wave goodbye to most of the possibility of using off-the-shelf Trav deck plans and use that method. An atmo-capable ship is limited in its two sections, because the drive pack is (more or less) fully enclosed. But deepspace ships that either don't dock at all (because they have shuttles) or only dock at stations? Those are a crew section and a drive section, and you can combine whichever sizes you want (limited by whether a drive section is adequate push the mass, and wrap it in a jump field).
I spent a whole bunch of time analyzing Trav drive/hull size combos, trying to decide if I could make a simplified formula for things, and I came fully back around to "but the overall size doesn't matter, just how much space is in the non-drive end of things. So that was a waste.
I am kinda violating my "brainstorming goes in the blog, finished work goes in the wiki" but I've been doing a lot more work in Starships and the pages it links to.
I have tentatively written up the Zhdez Esh Se drive pack, which has made me think about things.
